The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
This chapter is the chapter of being mindful of Allah. The author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned in it five verses from the Book of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. The discussion of three of them has already been presented. As for the fourth verse, it is His saying, the Exalted:
Indeed, your Lord is in observation. إن ربك لبالمرصاد
[Al-Fajr 89:14]
. And this is the verse with which Allah closed what He mentioned regarding the punishment of 'Ad
(7) [With] Iram - who had lofty pillars, (8) The likes of whom had never been created in the land? (9) And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley? (10) And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? - (11) [All of] whom oppressed within the lands (12) And increased therein the corruption. (13) So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment. (14) Indeed, your Lord is in observation.
[Al-Fajr 89:7-14]
. Thus, He, Mighty and Majestic, made it clear that He is ever watchful over every tyrant, and that every tyrant, Allah, the Exalted, will break his back and destroy him, leaving no remnant of him.
