The Shaykh : Then the author mentioned the last hadith in this chapter: that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said, the hadith of Abu Bakrah, who said: : And humiliating the ruler takes several forms, one of which is:
To mock the orders of the ruler when he commands something, saying: Look, see what they say? Another form is when the ruler does something that this person does not approve of, he says: Look, look what he did, intending to belittle the ruler in the eyes of the people, because if he belittles the ruler in the eyes of the people, they will disrespect him, not obey his commands, and not avoid his prohibitions. Therefore, the one who humiliates the ruler by spreading his faults among the people, criticizing him, and making him a byword, is exposed to being humiliated by Allah (Mighty and Majestic), because if he humiliates the ruler in such matters, the people will rebel against him and disobey him, and at that point, this becomes a source of evil, and Allah (Mighty and Majestic) will humiliate him. If he is humiliated in this world, he has already received his punishment, and if he is not humiliated in this world, he deserves to be humiliated in the Hereafter, refuge is sought in Allah, because the words of the Messenger are the truth: : And whoever supports the ruler, Allah will support him, because he has supported what is good and what is righteous. If you clarify to the people what is obligatory for them regarding the ruler, and you help them to obey him in matters other than disobedience, this is a great good, supporting righteousness and piety and good. We ask Allah to protect us and you from what angers His Face, and to guide us to what He loves and is pleased with.
