The meaning of the poet's statement: (Explaining the rejection of the People of Denial of the Divine Attributes of the Book and the Sunnah, and their listening to Kalam and philosophy) and you extended toward the heights with eyes, but your reach did not extend

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said:
"And you extended toward the heights with eyes, but your reach did not extend"
So your reach did not extend, and otherwise you would not have reached it? Your reach did not extend, yes.
"And you came to it from other than its doors, but you climbed over the walls"
You came to it, meaning you came to the issue from other than its doors. And if a person comes to something from other than its doors, he must climb over the walls. The one who enters in this manner is not entering in a prescribed, stable manner.
"And you closed two doors which, if they had been opened to you, you would have gained every good news and ease:
The chapter on the hadith and the chapter on this revelation: *** whoever opens these two doors, may the two doors congratulate him.

"May the two doors bring him ease" means that you closed two doors upon yourselves: the door of the Sunnah and the door of the Qur'an. Why? Because they returned to what they affirm and deny regarding Allah to what? To the intellect, and they abandoned the Book and the Sunnah, turning a blind eye to them. We ask Allah for safety.
