Is seeking to provision oneself with wealth better, or seeking to have little?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Which is better: seeking to have little of this world, or seeking to provision oneself with wealth?

Answer:
If he wants to work in obedience to Allah and benefit the Muslims, he must work through the means, provided it does not occupy him from the Hereafter. He should work and benefit people, just as the Companions did: Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, 'Umar, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf, and others. They spent in the cause of Allah, did good, and this world did not occupy them from the Hereafter.
