What is the greatest cause for urging sincerity?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the greatest cause for urging sincerity to Allah?

Answer:
Deeds are not accepted unless they are sincere for Allah; if they are for anything else, they are not accepted.
Q: He said: What is the cause?
A: Because the servant draws near to Allah through it. Acts of worship are a means of drawing near to Allah; they do not benefit, are not accepted, and are not valid unless they are for Allah. Therefore, it is not accepted from him if he prays for other than Allah, or fasts for other than Allah, or if he did not fast, did not pray, and did not perform the act of worship:
And they were not commanded except to worship Allahوَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ
[al-Bayyinah:5],
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
[al-Dhariyat:56]. It is necessary that he intends in his heart that this prayer is for Allah, or this fast is for Allah, or this charity is for Allah, or the glorification, or what is similar to that, hoping for the reward of Allah.
Q: And taqwa?
A: Obedience to Allah and leaving His disobedience. The one who has taqwa is the one who obeyed Allah and left the sins.
