Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
She has no one in Riyadh except her father, who lives with her in the same house, and her husband has divorced her with the third divorce. She asks: Where do I observe my waiting period?

Answer:
With her father.
Q: Is her father with her in the same house?
A: She observes her waiting period with her father.
Q: And does the husband leave the house?
A: Is he staying with them?
Q: Yes.
A: It is over; she is no longer his wife, for she has become irrevocably divorced from him by the third divorce. His saying:
Do not turn them out of their [husbands'] houses, nor should they [themselves] leaveلَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِنْ بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ
[Al-Talaq:1] this is regarding the revocable divorce.
Q: But she has no other place, and she cannot return to her country?
A: Is she with his father or with her father?
Q: With her father, so her father is with her.
A: She stays in the house.
Q: Does the husband leave and rent another place?
A: It is not obligatory for him, but he must not be alone with her, and there is no harm if he speaks to her or greets her, and praise be to Allah.
Q: Does she cover herself from him?
A: She must veil herself from him.
