Is it permissible for a woman in the waiting period to observe it in the house of her son or daughter?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The sister asked you about the waiting period for a woman. If the woman is accustomed to going to the house of her son or daughter, meaning she stays there, is that prevented, or does she stay in her own house?

The Shaykh : I think the answer has already been given, because her going to the house of her son is not more important than her going to the house of her husband.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : And beware of that.

The questioner : But she observes the waiting period in the house where she heard the news of her husband's death, and not in her husband's house?

The Shaykh : No, it is in the house where the news reached her, if that is possible, in the house where she was when the news came to her. But if the house means there are no mahrams there and she cannot stay in it, then she is compelled at that time to move to her husband's house.
