It is obligatory for everyone who engages in them to abandon them and guard against them; for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) said in Surat al-Ma'idah, addressing His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): [al-Ma'idah:4], and He said (Mighty and Majestic) in Surat al-A'raf, describing His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): [Al-A'raf 7:157] the verse [al-A'raf:157].
All types of smoking and shisha are among the harmful impurities that harm humans, so all types of them are forbidden by the text of these two verses and what came in their meaning.
And we ask Allah to guide the Muslims to what is in their well-being and salvation, and to protect them from what harms them in this world and the Hereafter; indeed, He is the best of those asked.
