Divorce by three pronouncements in a single utterance

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: The husband, A. H., his wife, and her brother came to me. The husband admitted that about three years ago, a dispute and quarrel occurred between him and his wife while they were traveling. Consequently, he forbade himself from traveling with the family thereafter due to the fatigue he experienced. After that, he divorced her with one pronouncement while she was pregnant, and he took her back before she gave birth, as witnessed by his supervisor and the imam of the nearby mosque. Then, about a week later, he divorced her with three pronouncements. His wife confirmed all of this in the presence of her brother.

Answer: Based on this, I issued a ruling to the aforementioned husband that he owes an expiation for an oath for his initial prohibition. Two pronouncements of divorce fall upon the aforementioned wife: the first is a single pronouncement, and the second is his pronouncement of three. She retains one pronouncement, and he may take her back as long as she is in the waiting period. He took her back in my presence, in the presence of her, and a group of Muslims; thereby, she remained in his marriage bond.
Stated by its scribe, the poor one before Allah the Exalted, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Baz, may Allah forgive him.
