A question regarding raising the hands in supplication

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The brother A. A. M. from Buraydah says in his question: I heard the Imam recite a hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the prayer for rain, and the Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) said at the end of the hadith: (The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not raise his hands except in supplication for rain). I have previously read that he (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his hands in other instances. We ask for clarification. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his hands in supplication in many places, but in his sermon during the prayer for rain, he went to the extreme in raising them. And success is from Allah.
