What is the authenticity of the hadith: “Whoever performs ifrad and does not bring sacrificial animals with him, and performs sa'y, he has exited the state of ihram”?

What is the authenticity of this hadith reported from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father): And if this hadith is authentic, how can ifrad be performed without faskh (dissolution)?

This is well-known from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father): whoever performs tawaf around the House and sa'y between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and does not have sacrificial animals with him, he has exited the state of ihram. This is his opinion (may Allah be pleased with him and his father).
The correct view is that one does not exit the state of ihram except by the known method of exiting it. If he intends to exit the state of ihram, he shaves or trims his hair; otherwise, he does not exit the state of ihram and remains in his state of ihram.
