The Characteristics of the Seventy Thousand Who Enter Paradise Without Being Reckoned

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What are the characteristics of the seventy thousand who enter Paradise without being reckoned?

Answer:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained that they are those who are upright upon the religion of Allah: the seventy thousand, and with each thousand there are seventy thousand.
The leaders of this believing community, their leaders, enter Paradise in the form of the moon on the night of the full moon. They are those who struggled against their own selves for the sake of Allah, and were upright upon the religion of Allah, wherever they were, in performing the obligatory duties, avoiding the forbidden, and racing to do good.
Among their characteristics: they do not seek ruqyah, they do not use cauterization, and they do not take omens:
"They do not seek ruqyah" means: they do not ask anyone to perform ruqyah for them, and they do not use cauterization. This does not mean that these things are forbidden; there is no harm in seeking ruqyah, nor in cauterization when there is a need for them. However, among their characteristics is leaving these things and being content with other means. They do not ask anyone to perform ruqyah for them; they do not say, "O so-and-so, perform ruqyah for me." But if the need arises, there is no harm, and doing so when the need arises does not exclude them from the seventy thousand. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Aisha to seek ruqyah during one of her illnesses, and he ordered the mother of the orphans of Ja'far ibn Abi Talib to seek ruqyah for them, as in the authentic hadith. Likewise, regarding cauterization, he (peace and blessings be upon him) cauterized some of his Companions and said:
Healing is in three things: cauterization with fire, a cut with a leech, or a drink of honey. And I do not like to be cauterized. And he said: I forbid my Ummah from cauterization.الشفاء في ثلاث، كية نار، أو شرطة محجم، أو شربة عسل، وما أحب أن أكتوي، وقال: وأنا أنهى أمتي عن الكي
. So cauterization is the last resort in medicine; if other medicine is available, it is better. And if there is a need for it, there is no harm.
