Turning to worship is a sign of good for the repentant

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I have repented from my sins and I regret them, and I have continued to regret them for more than a year. Then Allah made it easy for me to perform 'Umrah and Hajj, and to make du'a' at 'Arafah, and other things such as attending the gatherings of scholars, including yours and that of the honorable Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen. Are these signs by which I can hope that my repentance has been accepted?

Answer:
If Allah wills, as long as you have repented to Allah, repentance wipes out what came before it. Your attendance at gatherings of knowledge and your turning to worship are among the means of good and among the signs of good. So remain steadfast and hold fast to the truth, attend gatherings of knowledge, and increase in tawaf and prayer. Be glad of good, if Allah wills, and stick to your repentance.
