All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
He (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The chapter on the dislike of blowing into drink. It was narrated from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade blowing into drink. A man said: 'What if I see a splinter in the vessel?' He said: He said: 'I cannot quench my thirst in one breath.' He said: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1887Sahih (Darussalam) Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and said: 'It is a good, authentic hadith.' It was also narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade breathing into the vessel or blowing into it. Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and said: 'It is a good, authentic hadith'".

The author al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his book *Riyad al-Salihin*, in the section on the etiquettes of eating and drinking: "The chapter on the dislike of blowing into drink." Then he mentioned two hadiths containing the prohibition of blowing into drink. This is because when a person blows, harmful or damaging things, such as disease or the like, may come out of the air from him. Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade blowing into it. A man asked him, saying: "O Messenger of Allah, what if there is a splinter in the drink, meaning something like a small stick or the like, and a person blows to get it out?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: meaning pour out the water containing the splinter and do not blow into it. Then he asked about not being able to quench his thirst in one breath, so he said: However, some scholars have made an exception for what is required by necessity, such as if the drink is hot and speed is needed, so some scholars permitted this. But it is better not to do so, even if it is hot; do not blow into it if it is hot. If you have a vessel, pour it into the vessel and then return it the second time until it cools down. In this is evidence that the Islamic Shari'ah is complete, complete in all aspects. Everything that our Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us, as Abu Dharr said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, and there is no bird flapping its wings in the sky except that knowledge of it was mentioned to us". Even the birds in the sky, we have knowledge of them through the teaching of Allah and His Messenger to us. And a man from the polytheists said to Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him): "Has your Prophet taught you everything, even how to relieve oneself?" Meaning even sitting to relieve oneself of urine or feces. He said: "Yes," and mentioned what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us: not to face the qiblah with urine or feces, not to clean ourselves with the right hand, not to clean ourselves with less than three stones, and not to clean ourselves with dung or bone. So the important point is that our Shari'ah, praise be to Allah, is complete in every aspect; there is no deficiency in it, and it does not need anyone to complete it. And in this is a refutation of the foolish people who claim that the Islamic Shari'ah only regulates worship between Allah and His creation, while as for transactions between people, the Shari'ah does not care about them. It is said to them: "Woe to you and foolishness to your minds!" The longest verse in the Book, in the Book of Allah the Mighty, is entirely about lending and dealing between people. The longest verse, and is there any greater concern than this? And how many verses are there in the Noble Qur'an regarding the regulation of wealth and its improvement, and the like. And likewise in the Sunnah. So the Islamic Shari'ah, praise be to Allah, is complete in every aspect. We ask Allah the Exalted to grant us and you the ability to hold fast to it, outwardly and inwardly.
