All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
He (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Chapter on the recommendation of the shirt. It was narrated from Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The garment most beloved to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was the shirt. It was narrated by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi, who said: It is a good hadith. Chapter on the description of the length of the shirt, the sleeve, the lower garment, and the end of the turban, and the prohibition of letting any of these hang down out of arrogance, and its being disliked without arrogance. It was narrated from Asma bint Yazid al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The sleeve of the shirt of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) reached the wrist. It was narrated by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi, who said: It is a good hadith. And it was narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever arrogantly drags his garment, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Judgement. من جر ثوبه خيلاء لم ينظر الله إليه يوم القيامة

Abu Bakr said to him, O Messenger of Allah: My lower garment hangs down unless I hold it up. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him:
You are not one of those who do it arrogantly. إنك لست ممن يفعله خيلاء

It was narrated by al-Bukhari, and Muslim narrated part of it. And it was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allah will not look, on the Day of Resurrection, at a person who drags his Izar (behind him) out of pride and arrogance. لا ينظر الله يوم القيامة إلى من جر إزاره بطرًا

Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. And it was narrated from him (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire. ما أسفل من الكعبين من الإزار ففي النار

There are three to whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection nor will He look at them or purify them, and theirs will be a painful torment. ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة ولا ينظر إليهم ولا يزكيهم ولهم عذاب أليم

He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited it three times. Abu Dharr said: They have failed and lost. Who are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said:
the dragger of lower garment, the recounter of obligation the seller of goods by false oath. المسبل والمنان والمنفق سلعته بالحلف الكاذب
