Is it true that if a father neglects the 'aqiqah sacrifice for his child, the child will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection to enter Paradise?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In his methodology, he stated that the reality of this is that the father did what was obligatory for his son by performing the 'aqiqah. If he had not... [regarding] Paradise, his father would not be called out [to say] that he performed the 'aqiqah for him. This is in his methodology.

The Shaykh : How?

The questioner : Regarding the child, what the father did with this 'aqiqah is that he completed it for him.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : He stated that he would not enter Paradise; he said he would enter Paradise; he said he would enter Paradise; he said he would not enter except when he brings his parents. This is in his methodology.

The Shaykh : This came from the words of Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) in his interpretation of the saying of the Messenger (peace be upon him):
Every boy is pledged by his 'aqiqah on his seventh day. كلُّ غلام مُرتهنٌ بعقيقة يوم سابعه
The Messenger (peace be upon him) did not clarify the aspect of this, but it appeared to the Imam (may Allah have mercy on him) that the meaning is that the child for whom the 'aqiqah was not performed will not intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection. However, we have no text from Allah and His Messenger regarding this, and therefore we say that Allah knows best. But the hadith is explicit and authentic:
Every boy is pledged by his 'aqiqah. كلُّ غلام مرتهن بعقيقة
. What releases his pledge? That you slaughter for him; otherwise, he remains pledged.
