Addendum to the benefits of the hadith: (Marry her to Usamah).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
We take the remaining benefits:
Among the benefits of this hadith is that good character and religion take precedence over other qualities, because Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) was stronger and more beneficial for this woman than Mu'awiyah or Abu Jahm.
And among the benefits of this hadith is considering wealth in the preference, based on his saying:
as for Mu'awiya, he is a poor man having no property أما معاوية فصعلوك لا مال له
Sahih Muslim 1480a
However, it is objected to this that Usamah was also a freed slave, and the stronger view regarding the status of a freed slave is that he is poor; he was poor. It is said that this is compensated for by his connection to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), to the extent that he was nicknamed the beloved of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and the son of his beloved.
Now, among the benefits of this hadith is considering good character in the suitor. Where is this taken from? From his saying:
As for Abu Jahm, he is a man who beats women. أما أبو جهم فضراب للنساء
Is that clear?
Now, among the benefits of this hadith is that there is no harm in proposing to a woman who has already been proposed to, if the suitor does not know, because these three all proposed to her, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say to her: Marry the first suitor, because the other two suitors had encroached upon his right; rather, he made the matter equal.
And among the benefits of this hadith is that Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that she married Usamah and was pleased with him. From this it is taken that consulting people of religion and righteousness may bring good to the one who consults them. Is that clear? Yes.
And among the benefits of this hadith is also that a person should consult others in matters in which he sees them to be more knowledgeable than himself, if the matter is difficult for him. But if it is not difficult, the matter is clear and does not require consultation.
