Fields of Da'wah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: Some people believe that da'wah (calling to Islam) must be conducted in mosques only. What is your opinion? What are the fields and avenues that a da'i (caller to Islam) can explore?

A: In the name of Allah, and all praise is due to Allah.
Da'wah is not limited to mosques only; there are other fields and ways. Mosques are undoubtedly an opportunity for da'wah, such as the Friday sermons and other sermons, the exhortations during prayer times, and the circles of knowledge, which are the foundation for the spread of knowledge and religion. However, the mosque is not exclusively responsible for da'wah.
The caller to Allah calls to Him in places other than mosques, in appropriate gatherings or incidental gatherings. The believer should seize these opportunities and call to Allah. This is also done through various media and through writing. All of these are ways of da'wah. The wise person seizes the opportunity at all times and in all places. If Allah gathers him with a group in any place and at any time, and he is able to call, he should exert what he can to call to Allah with wisdom, good speech, and a fine manner.
