Is the call of the Tablighi Jama'at a valid call?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: His EminenceThe Shaykh : Peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

The questioner : Some of the young Muslims are occupied with Roman and Greek logic, and some of them are ignorant of the matters of religion. So it is necessary for us, as youth, to be among the callers. Some of the scholars reject this matter of the call and say that it does not conform to the Sunnah, meaning the Tablighi call, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : May Allah forgive you. The call is not contrary to the Sunnah. What does it say?
And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good ولتكن منكم أمة يدعون إلى الخير
[Ali 'Imran 3:104]
So do you imagine a Muslim who denies such a verse that explicitly commands the call? Say, "No," or did you not understand me? No.

The questioner : I understood you, O my master.

The Shaykh : So, if there is a person who has some knowledge and intellect and he says that the call is contrary to the Sunnah, perhaps a regulated call, organized in a way that is contrary to the Sunnah; but as for denying the call absolutely, this is impossible.
And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong ولتكن منكم أمة يدعون إلى الخير ويأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر
[Ali 'Imran 3:104]
So it is not possible for a person to deny the call, namely that which came in the Book and the Sunnah. But he may deny a call that contains religious innovation, superstitions, fabricated hadiths, and so on. It is possible to deny such a thing. But denying the call absolutely is an impossible and grave error.

The questioner : Yes, meaning, if a person affiliates with any group, like the Tablighi Jama'at, or any other group, there is no guidance for the youth greater than being directed toward a specific thing. And we see some groups are striving hard, and a person tries to strive like them, so that he conveys the message or tells people in the cafes, or for example in the places where they sit on the streets, or so on...

The Shaykh : No, I say, my brother, your statement is accepted in general, not in detail, or in detail. If the group that this person, who may wander in the streets as you mentioned, wants to join is better for him than this wandering, and if this group or another calls to Islam with knowledge of Islam, with the Book, and with the Sunnah, then this is obligatory, because Allah says:
and be with those who are true. وكونوا مع الصادقين
[At-Tawbah 9:119]
But if they have no knowledge, they do not know the Book, they do not know the Sunnah, they do not distinguish the authentic hadith from the weak one, they do not differentiate between what is established in the Sunnah and what came in the madhhab or in the path or in something like that; I have finished saying to you, Doctor?

The questioner : No, no, continue, O Shaykh, may Allah honor you.

The Shaykh : Because there are women behind us.
