Is it permissible for the ma'mum to perform the prostration for forgetfulness, and what is the ruling if he forgets in the prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you with the best reward for us and for the Muslims. This is Muhammad Shu'ayb, and he asks in his question: Is it permissible for the ma'mum to perform the prostration for forgetfulness? And what is the ruling if he forgets in the prayer?

The Shaykh : If the ma'mum is with the imam from the beginning of the prayer and nothing is missed by him, then the imam bears it for him, and the prostration for forgetfulness is dropped from him.
As for if he missed something of the prayer and forgot in his prayer, I mean the ma'mum, then he prostrates for forgetfulness. So if he stands and makes up what is upon him of what he missed, he prostrates for forgetfulness, whether before the taslim or after it, according to what came in the Sunnah.
