One does not wake his family for prayer until after he returns from the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: I get up for the Fajr prayer, praise be to Allah, but I do not wake my family until after I return from the mosque. What is the ruling on my action? May Allah reward you with good.

A: Your action is permissible if you wake them at a time when they are able to perform ritual purity and prayer before the sun rises. However, it is better for you to wake them from the time of the adhan so that they perform the prayer early, because prayer at the beginning of its time is better. If waking them before the prayer causes you hardship such that you fear missing the congregational prayer, then go and pray with the congregation, then return to them and wake them. It is better for you to wake them before the adhan so that you take precaution for yourself and so that you perform the prayer in its time if they have not performed the witr prayer. If they have not performed the witr, then what is prescribed for you is to wake them before Fajr at a time that allows them to perform the witr before the Fajr adhan, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do with his family.
