The ruling on one who does not wake his children for the Fajr prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Sometimes I go to the Fajr prayer and do not wake the children due to lateness or something similar, so what is the ruling?
Answer:
It is obligatory to set the clock for an early time so that you wake them and help them in obeying Allah. It is obligatory for you, you must order them to pray at seven, and beat them for it at ten, and you must be early so that you can wake them. If you are overcome by this because the time becomes tight, then when you return, wake them so that they pray, and repent to Allah for what you fell short in, and do not neglect them until they pray within the time.
But you must advance the time by setting the clock so that you are able to perform your prayer, your wudu, and your ghusl if you are required to perform a ghusl, and to wake them before the time of prayer, so that the time does not become tight for you.
