Advice on Spending the Vacation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: We would like advice from you on how to spend the vacation, and what do you advise the brothers to do?

Answer: I advise my brothers to make the most of their vacation in everything that pleases Allah: memorizing the Noble Qur'an and reciting it frequently, utilizing libraries for reading and benefiting by attending scholarly lectures and useful seminars, cooperating in righteousness and piety, and advising one another to truth and patience upon it, and offering advice, as well as other forms of good, such as visiting one another for the sake of Allah in various parts of this country; for it is an opportunity that should be utilized for good.
Among the best ways to make use of the vacation is caring for the Noble Qur'an through memorization, recitation, and reflection, and caring for beneficial books and reading them, and memorizing important books and useful curricula, such as: [Kitab al-Tawhid], [Bulugh al-Maram], [Umdat al-Hadith], [Al-'Aqidah al-Wasitiyyah], and [Al-Arba'in al-Nawawiyyah] along with its completion by Ibn Rajab, which makes it fifty hadiths from the concise words of the Prophet. These fifty should be memorized along with reviewing the commentary of al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab (may Allah have mercy on him).
And among what is good to focus on during the vacation is visiting scholars and asking them about what is difficult for the student in the various fields of knowledge. We ask Allah for success, guidance, and rectification of intention and deeds for everyone, and there is no power or might except with Allah, the Exalted and Great.
