Ruling on placing the ghutrah under the face during prostration

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: From A. A. M. - Al-Khabar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he says: I see some of the worshippers placing the end of their ghutrah under their face during prostration. What is the ruling on their doing this? May Allah guide you.

A: If there is a need due to the coldness, heat, or roughness of the ground, there is no harm in that, for the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do so when there was a need. However, when there is no need, it is better to leave it and for the one praying to face the place of prayer with his face, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to do so. And success is from Allah.
