Aisha’s (may Allah be pleased with her) question regarding entering the Ka'bah and the answer to it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: Perhaps Your Eminence would remind the Muslims of what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Aisha regarding the Ka'bah.

A: It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
Were it not that your people are recent in their disbelief, I would have demolished the Ka'bah and rebuilt it on the foundations of Ibrahim, and I would have made for it two doors: one for entering and one for exiting.لولا أن قومك حديثو عهد بكفر لنقضت الكعبة وبنيتها على قواعد إبراهيم وجعلت لها بابين بابًا للدخول وبابًا للخروج
So he (peace and blessings be upon him) left the Ka'bah unreconstructed and did not include the stone of Isma'il in it, out of fear of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). This indicates the obligation to consider public interests and to prioritize the higher interest, which is uniting hearts and establishing them upon Islam, over the lower interest, which is restoring the Ka'bah to the foundations of Ibrahim.
It is also established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when she requested to enter the Ka'bah:
Enter the Hijr for it is part of the House.صلي في الحجر فإنه من البيت
