The ruling on reciting aloud in the last rak'ah of the Maghrib prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: A man entered the mosque to pray Maghrib and caught two rak'ahs with the imam. He then prayed the last rak'ah alone. Does he recite aloud in this rak'ah and recite Surat al-Fatihah, considering that he prayed the last rak'ah with the imam, or is the rak'ah he prayed with the imam considered the second rak'ah?

A: The rak'ah that he made up after his imam’s taslim is considered the last rak'ah, so it is not prescribed to recite aloud in it. This is because the correct of the two opinions of the scholars is that what the masbuq catches of the prayer is considered the beginning of his prayer, and what he makes up is the end of it. This is based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
When the iqamah is pronounced for prayer, do not come to it running, but come walking(slowly). You should observe tranquility. The part of the prayer you get(along with the imam) offer it, and the part you miss complete it(afterwards).إذا أقيمت الصلاة فلا تأتوها تسعون وأتوها تمشون وعليكم السكينة، فما أدركتم فصلوا، وما فاتكم فأتموا
