Completing the Qur'an in Tarawih and Tahajjud is a good deed

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: Many imams strive to complete the Qur'an in Tarawih and Tahajjud in order to let the congregation hear the entire Qur'an. Is there any harm in doing so?

A: This is a good deed. The imam reads a part or less each night, but in the last ten nights he increases until he completes the Qur'an and finishes it, if this is possible without hardship. Likewise, the supplication for completing the recitation was practiced by many of the righteous predecessors, and it is established that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) , the servant of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), did it, and in that there is much good.
It is prescribed for the congregation to say "Ameen" to the imam's supplication, hoping that Allah will accept it from them. The scholar Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) dedicated a chapter in his book "Jala' al-Afham fi al-Salah wa al-Salam 'ala Khayr al-Anam" to the state of the predecessors regarding their care for completing the Qur'an. We advise consulting it for further benefit.
