Is it obligatory to complete the recitation of the Qur'an in the tarawih prayers?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 15863 )
Q2: I am a student in my final year at one of the universities in Egypt, and the blessed month of Ramadan comes upon us students, and each of us is burdened
with lessons and studying, knowing that the exams are immediately after Ramadan, so nothing remains for us but Ramadan for study and acquisition. Therefore, we are unable to benefit from Ramadan as we are commanded to constantly read the Qur'an and complete the recitation of the mushaf in the tarawih prayer, because we pray in a mosque near us that recites short verses and finishes the prayer and tarawih early , although I internally wish to complete the Qur'an in tarawih as in other mosques, but time is like a sword and I find no time for studying. Answer us, may Allah reward you, is there a sin on me for this, knowing that I perform all prayers on time and fast the full fast?

A2: The tarawih prayer is a confirmed sunnah, and it is prescribed to be tranquil in its recitation, standing, bowing, prostration, and the rest of its pillars, and it is not obligatory to complete the entire Qur'an in the tarawih prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
