The Imam Completes the Recitation of the Qur'an in the Tarawih Prayer Because He Recites It Outside the Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 21263 )
Q2: When the imam informed the worshippers of the night on which he would supplicate with the supplication for completing the recitation of the Qur'an, they asked him how he would supplicate for the completion of the Qur'an when he had not completed it in the Tarawih prayer or the night prayer. He said: I recite the Qur'an in the night prayer and Tarawih, then I continue reciting outside the prayer so that I may complete it, and he reassured them that he is keen to complete the recitation of the Qur'an. Is it prescribed for the worshipper to continue
reciting outside the prayer so that he may complete the recitation of the Qur'an
?

A2: We do not know this from the Sunnah or from the practice of the righteous predecessors of the Ummah, and all good lies in following [the Prophet], and acts of worship are based on what has been specified by the Lawgiver, so independent legal reasoning and analogical reasoning do not apply to them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
