Mentioning the harms of free mixing of men and women and what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) brought regarding blocking the means to it

The Shaykh : And there is no doubt that free mixing of men and women has its negative effects. It is sufficient for the Muslim who has not studied Islam from a jurisprudential perspective and has not taken from it some of the legal texts that address some branches related to such mixing, when the Wise Lawgiver prevented it from becoming a reality. I say: it is sufficient for him to know the experience of the disbelievers with this mixing, which has become a calamity for European society, and many of their scholars and wise men—if there are any wise men among them—complain of the consequences of this mixing. - And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings - Islam came to make humanity happy, as you all know, through ways, means, and legal rulings, some of which are reasonable in meaning, some of which are not reasonable in meaning to many or most people, and some of which are reasonable to some people, namely the scholars, who understand this principle: "The chapter of blocking the means to harm." The important thing now is that I mention some of the branches I referred to earlier regarding what came in the Sunnah, in which whoever understands them does not need to rely on the principle, because the principle originated from these branches and their like. We all know the saying of the Messenger - (peace and blessings be upon him) - : . This superiority, or this reversed preference, is the preference of the first row of men and the rows following it over the last row and the row following it, and exactly the opposite for the rows of women. It is known that this is only from the chapter of blocking the means to harm, especially since this precaution and this restraint is in the best of places on earth, which is the mosque, as came in the authentic hadith: . So if the Muslim looks at this organization in the best of places, separating women from men and exaggerating in the separation, where he made the worst of the rows of men that which is close to the first row of women, and the best of the rows of women that which is far from the last row of men.
The student : That the adult woman should pray in her home is better for her.

The Shaykh : This is an organization in the best of places, which are the mosques. Then, as part of the completion of this organization, it came in "Sahih al-Bukhari": "That the Prophet - (peace and blessings be upon him) - used to remain for a short time after he finished the prayer." The narrator said: "So we thought that his remaining was so that the women would leave before the men." That is, so that there would be no mixing of women and men on the way. The women would go out ahead of the men, and then the men would go out. - And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings - If this is the organization that - (peace and blessings be upon him) - brought in the first place in the best of places, and then in the worship of Allah - (Mighty and Majestic) -, and yet some of the dangers still occurred, and I will mention an example of that to you. What does the Muslim say when a woman is in a room like this room, larger or smaller, it is not important, and there is an employee and there is a female employee? There is no doubt that here the corruption is much closer than the corruption of the proximity of the last row to the first row of women, or the opposite, the proximity of the first row of women to the last row of men. Here the danger is represented by the fact that more than that can occur in that place. This is a matter of no doubt or ambiguity.
