Continuation of the explanation of the words of Ibn Malik (may Allah have mercy on him): "Ab, Akh, Ham, and so on, and Hinn *** And the omission in this last one is better."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said: "Ab, Akh, Ham, and so on". "And so on" means like the ones mentioned, namely *Dhu* and *Fam*, which mean "possessor of." When the *mim* is separated from *Fam*, it is "and so on," meaning that it is raised with a *waw*, accused with an *alif*, and genitive with a *ya*. "And Hinn". *Hinn* is also one of the six names, because Ibn Malik mentioned six names, but he separated them from *Ab*, *Akh*, and *Ham* for a reason that will become clear. So how many are these? *Ab*, *Akh*, *Ham*, and *Hinn* are four, and with *Dhu* and *Fam* they make six. He says: "Ab, Akh, Ham, and so on, and Hinn".
