The Shaykh’s advice to the one who visits someone without an appointment, and is told: “And when it is said to you, return, then return”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is your opinion when we visited you without an appointment?

The Shaykh : My opinion is: when it is said to you, return, then return.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : ... .

The questioner : We tell you: why did we visit you?

The Shaykh : The poet says:
“And nothing is sound in the minds *** If the day needs a proof”
So this love for the sake of Allah is clear and apparent entirely, but why are you...? Since you are reminded of the previously mentioned verse:
And if it is said to you, "Go back," then go back وَإِنْ قِيلَ لَكُمُ ارْجِعُوا فَارْجِعُوا
[An-Nur 24:28]
You, praise be to Allah, did not burden yourselves or knock on the door until it was said: “I knocked on the door until my strength failed, so when my strength failed...” So you did not knock on the door.

The questioner : Yes, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : So why did it become in your heart when I spoke to you...?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : In any case, I consider what happened in your heart to be proof of your love... and the mistake is “often a harm is beneficial.”

The questioner : Guide us, O Shaykh, may Allah bless you.

The Shaykh : That he guides us and you to wherever you are guided.

The questioner : Okay, you came to us...

The Shaykh : And may Allah benefit us with you, is this supplication permissible or not?

The questioner : What, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : May Allah benefit us with you.

The questioner : You mentioned it, O Shaykh...

The Shaykh : Yes, may Allah benefit us with you, with your supplication, with your remembrance, etc.
