Ruling on praying in a distant mosque in order to seek reward

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If the mosque is close to the house, and the man goes to the farther one in order to seek reward...?

Answer:
There is no harm in it, if Allah wills, provided there is no harm involved. However, if it discourages others from praying in the mosque, or affects them, or results in some kind of harm, then he should pray in the mosque next to him. But if there is no harm, or if he goes to another mosque for a lesson, or for the sake of the imam’s good recitation and benefiting from the imam’s recitation for a legitimate Shari'ah interest, then there is nothing wrong with it.
