When do the followers say "Ameen"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
"And when he says 'Ameen,' then you say 'Ameen.'" When do the followers say "Ameen"?

Answer:
When the imam begins, when he begins the entire intended supplication, they all supplicate. He supplicates:
Guide us to the straight path -اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
[al-Fatihah:6], the imam supplicates, and they are listening to him. Then, when he says:
And not those who go astray.وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
[al-Fatihah:7], they all say: "Ameen." This is because in the other narration:
for if a person’s Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.فإذا قال: وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ فقولوا: آمين، فإن مَن وافق تأمينُه تأمينَ الملائكة غُفر له ما تقدَّم من ذنبه
Sunan Ibn Majah 852Sahih (Darussalam)
, the intention is that their saying "Ameen" coincides with the angels' saying "Ameen," and that they are all saying "Ameen."
