What is the meaning of fasting for the entire year, and what is the ruling on fasting due to living conditions?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner asks: What is fasting for the entire year? And is it permissible to fast consecutive days based on the hadith which, in its meaning, states that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to ask his family about breaking the fast, and if he did not find that they had broken it, he would intend to fast? Then he asks: And is it permissible for me to fast due to difficult financial circumstances?
There is nothing wrong with voluntary fasting; if he wishes, he may fast from the middle of the day if he has not eaten previously, he may fast from the middle of the day, there is nothing wrong, and he may break the fast, as it is a voluntary fast.
However, continuous fasting should be one day after another; if he intends to fast continuously, he should fast one day and break the fast the next. And if he fasts for several days and then breaks the fast for the same number of days, there is nothing wrong, as 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr used to do in the last part of his life; when he became tired, he would fast many days in succession, then break the fast for the same number of days, because that was stronger for him.
