The ruling on a woman removing her head covering during Hajj at 'Arafah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A group of women went for Hajj, and when they arrived at 'Arafah, they said: We removed our clothes from our heads because of the intense heat, and they did not know what the ruling on that was. So what is your guidance?
Answer:
Standing [at 'Arafah], praise be to Allah, there is nothing wrong with it. If there are no non-mahram men present, there is no blame—Allah willing. Covering is obligatory in the presence of a non-mahram man. As for if they remove them from their heads in the tent, and there are only women with them, there is no blame in that. It is like a man who throws his cloak off his shoulders because of the heat; there is nothing wrong with that. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
