The ruling on one whose family forced her to marry her cousin

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
After this, a message reached the program from the Arab Republic of Egypt. The sender (M. M. A.) says: She is a young woman in her middle age, and her family forced her to marry her cousin. In reality, she had expressed to them her desire that she did not want this man, but they compelled her to do so, and they brought him to her against her will, as she says. At that point, she began to suffer, and she began to ask for divorce. Is there any sin on her for that? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
It is obligatory for her to listen and obey her parents in what is good, if she is able to do so. If she is not able, then this is a matter concerning her; she knows herself best. She should take her case to the court, and what the court deems sufficient is sufficient, if Allah wills.
As for if she entered into it with her consent after they pressured her and she agreed, then she has no right to change her mind afterwards. Rather, she must be patient and seek reward from Allah, except if there is something she cannot bear. This is a matter for the court; she should take her case to the court, and what the court deems sufficient is sufficient, if Allah wills. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
