The ruling on speaking with the khatib during the Friday sermon

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on speaking with the khatib on Friday?

Answer:
If there is a pressing need, there is nothing wrong with it. If there is a pressing need for the khatib to be spoken to, one may say: “Call upon Allah to help us; call upon Allah for us, for we are in drought and need.” Or one may ask him about something that benefits the people; there is nothing wrong with that. Some people previously approached the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was delivering the Friday sermon and said: “O Messenger of Allah! The wealth is ruined, and the paths are cut off... so call upon Allah to send us relief.” So he sought relief, (peace and blessings be upon him). “O Allah, send down rain upon us.” Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
