Ruling on mixing Zamzam water with other water to increase its quantity

Question:
We move on to a message received by the program from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from listeners (A. N. T) and (M. A. S). One of them says in his question: I brought water from Zamzam with me, and I mix it with regular water so that it is sufficient for a large number of people. Is this considered deception, or not?

Answer:
If you tell them that it is all from Zamzam, then that is an error and a lie. However, if you say that you mixed water other than Zamzam with it, there is no harm. Otherwise, there is no need for all of this. The water you have, you can give it to whom you wish, or you can drink it yourself, or you can use it yourself with awareness, and do not lie. The matter in this is easy, if Allah wills. But you should be aware in these matters, and you should not engage in lying. It is not befitting for a believer to engage in lying ever. He should be careful to be truthful in his words and his deeds. So if you love to give a gift, give something you know is Zamzam, and say that it is Zamzam, and you will be truthful. Otherwise, there is no need for that, and praise be to Allah, you are not obligated to give a gift. Yes.
