The position of the wife with her husband in prayer when she is following him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says in another question: Is it possible for a man to pray with his wife at home? In this case, where does the wife stand? Does she stand to his right, to his left, or behind him? We ask for your guidance. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
As for the obligatory prayer, he is required to pray with the Muslims in the mosque, and he is not permitted to pray in his home, neither with his family nor with others. It is obligatory for the believer to pray with the people in the houses of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) ; because of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever hears the call to prayer and does not come, he has no prayer except one who has an excuse. It was said to Ibn Abbas: What is the excuse? He said: Sickness or fear.من سمع النداء فلم يأت فلا صلاة له إلا من عذر، قيل لـابن عباس: ما هو العذر؟ قال: مرض أو خوف
; and because a blind man asked him (peace and blessings be upon him), saying:
O Messenger of Allah! I have no guide suitable for me to the mosque. Do I have a dispensation to pray in my house? He said (peace and blessings be upon him): Do you hear the call to prayer? He said: Yes. He said: Then respond to it.
, and he did not grant him a dispensation to pray at home, even though he was blind and had no guide suitable for him.
So it is obligatory for the Muslim men to pray in the mosques of Allah, in the houses of Allah with their brothers, and it is not permissible to be absent from them. However, if a person prays a voluntary prayer with his wife, such as the late-night prayer or the Duha prayer, there is no harm in it, and she stands behind him. As for a man, one person stands to his right, standing to his right, whereas the woman stands behind him, even if she is his wife. This is because when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the Duha prayer in the house of Anas, he placed Anas to his right and placed the woman behind them. In the other wording:
He prayed with Anas and the orphan and placed them behind him, and placed the woman behind them.صلى بـأنس واليتيم وجعلهما خلفه، وجعل المرأة خلفهما
, and she was the grandmother of Anas.
So the point is that the woman, whether she is a wife, a mother, or a sister, does not stand in a row with the man, but she stands behind him, whether he is the imam or a follower. If he is the imam, she is behind him. If there are rows, she prays behind the rows. This is in the voluntary prayer.
As for the obligatory prayer, it is obligatory for the man to pray with the people. However, if he is sick, or if he missed the prayer in the mosque and prayed at home, and she prays behind him, there is no harm in the obligatory prayer; because in this situation he is excused, either because he is sick, or because he missed the obligatory prayer with the men. Yes.
