Ruling on praying the two Eid prayers in successive congregations due to the narrowness of the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In the prayer of the two Eids, we go out to the open prayer ground, men and women alike. However, in the case of rain, we pray in the mosque, because the Eid prayer ground is open-air. This mosque where we pray is small in size and cannot accommodate the worshippers, so we perform the prayer several times, one congregation after another. In the last congregation, the imam delivers the Eid sermon. Is this prayer valid or not? We ask for your guidance. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
There is no harm in praying in the mosque, but if it is possible to pray in the open field, that is better. Pray the recommended practice in the open field if there is no obstacle such as rain, for praying in the open field is the recommended practice for the Eid prayer and the prayer for rain. If an obstacle such as rain prevents this, pray in the mosques, and there is no harm in that. Even if there is no obstacle, there is nothing wrong with praying in the mosque, but it is better for the Eid prayer and the prayer for rain to be in the open field.
And if there is an obstacle, there is no harm in praying it in the mosques. The recommended practice is for it to be one prayer; the imam prays one prayer with the people and delivers the sermon to them. Whoever misses the prayer prays two rak'ahs at home or in the mosque after the people, and that is sufficient for him, praise be to Allah. There is no need to repeat the prayer with the people. Rather, the imam prays with the people who are gathered, prays with them, and delivers the sermon to them. Then, after that, whoever comes in prays, either in congregation or alone, praise be to Allah, or prays it at home if he did not catch up with the people. They can look for a wider mosque so that they can all pray together. They can look for a mosque, even if it is not nearby, even if it is somewhat far, so that they can all pray together. As for praying one congregation after another, we do not know a basis for this, neither in the Friday prayer nor in the Eid prayer. Rather, the imam prays with those present in the Friday prayer and the Eids, prays with them, and whoever misses it prays alone. In the Friday prayer, he prays the midday prayer, and in the Eid, he prays two rak'ahs, praise be to Allah, just as he prays with the imam, and that is sufficient for him... praise be to Allah. Yes.
