The ruling on a woman giving from her husband's wealth to her relatives without his permission

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner (A. A. T.), residing in Riyadh, says: What is the ruling on a woman who gives a great deal from her husband's house to her relatives without his prior knowledge? I ask you to provide information.

Answer:
She is not permitted to give to her relatives from her husband's wealth except with his permission. This is betrayal; his permission is necessary. She must not dispose of his wealth except with his permission, except for what is customary to give as charity to the poor and needy, in which case there is no harm. That is the customary amount. As for giving to her relatives or others something that is not customary and for which he has not given permission, that is not allowed.

The presenter : May Allah bless you.
