The ruling on seeking refuge during prayer to ward off waswasah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If waswasah (whispers) comes to the one praying during his prayer, is it permissible to seek refuge during the prayer? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Yes, seeking refuge is a recommended practice (sunnah). If he feels the waswasah, he should seek refuge in Allah from Satan three times, spit to his left three times, and seek refuge in Allah from Satan as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed some of the Companions to do in that matter. So the recommended practice for him is to seek refuge in Allah from Satan, spit to his left three times, and focus his heart on his prayer, and to be mindful of the greatness of Allah , and the waswasah will go away, if Allah wills.
