How to Repel Whispers
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The seventh question of the fatwa number (19616)
Q 7: What should a Muslim say or do if Satan’s whispers become frequent for him and he is on the verge of associating partners with Allah (Mighty and Majestic)?
A 7: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... After that:
He should repel the whispers from himself to the best of his ability, by occupying himself with reflecting on the Qur'an, remembering the greatness of Allah, and the like. It is prescribed for him to say what came in the authentic hadiths: "I believe in Allah and His Messengers," and to seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
