The ruling on one who prays only the Friday prayer and leaves the other prayers
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: There is a man who prays only the Friday prayer without praying the other obligatory prayers. Is his prayer accepted?
Answer:
He is a disbeliever; his prayer is not accepted. He has become a disbeliever by doing so, so his Friday prayer, his fasting, and all his other deeds are invalid. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-An'am: 88], and He the Exalted said: [Al-Ma'idah: 5]. So whoever commits major disbelief or major shirk, his deeds are nullified—may Allah keep us safe from that—and leaving the prayer is major disbelief. May Allah keep us safe from that. Yes.
