Ruling on saying: Allahu Akbar after rising from the bowing
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The brother I. M. S. from Jeddah says in his question: What is the ruling for the imam or the one praying behind him if he says: Allahu Akbar, instead of Sami' Allahu li man hamidah, or the reverse? Please give us a ruling, and may Allah reward you.
It is not permissible for him to do that intentionally. Rather, it is obligatory for the one praying to pray as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed, by saying the takbir in its place, the tasmee' in its place, and saying: Our Lord, to You belongs all praise, in its place. And whoever deviates from that due to forgetfulness, there is no sin on him, and he must prostrate for forgetfulness if he is an imam or praying alone. And success is from Allah.
