The ruling on the prayer of one who is struggling with the two excretions
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I sometimes pray while struggling to pass gas. Is my prayer valid?
Answer:
It is obligatory for the believer, if he is occupied by gas, urine, or feces in a way that causes him harm, not to enter into prayer. Rather, he should relieve himself of his feces, urine, and gas, then perform wudu' and pray with a humble heart and limbs, facing his prayer. This is what every believing man and woman should do; because of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Riyad as-Salihin 1753 meaning urine and feces and gas in their meaning. If the gas becomes intense, it is in the meaning of urine and feces in its harm to the one praying and in its distraction from his prayer. So what is prescribed for you, O sister in Allah, if you feel intense gas, is to relieve yourself of it, perform wudu', and then pray.

No Salat (prayer) should be performed when the food has been served, nor should it be performed when a person is in need of relieving himself.
