Which is better: looking at the Ka'bah or looking at the place of prostration?

Question:
When praying in the Haram, which is better: looking at the Ka'bah or looking at the place of prostration?

Answer:
It is prescribed in all prayers, and in every place, to look at the place of prostration; because that is more reverent for the servant and more gathering for the heart, except in the case of the tashahhud, in which the Sunnah is to look at the place of the pointing finger. And Allah is the One who grants success.
