The ruling on one for whom visiting his relatives is difficult

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The question: His third question says: I have three aunts, and I sometimes go more than two years without visiting them. The reason is that they live on the summit of a mountain that cars cannot reach, and it is difficult to walk up to them. Sometimes my job prevents me, and I look forward to visiting my maternal uncles so that I can meet them there. What is my obligation regarding my severing of ties with them, knowing that I love them and hold nothing in my heart for them but love and respect?
The answer: This is not severing of ties, and you are excused, as long as the aunts are in that high place and it is difficult for you, and you are occupied with your job, then there is no blame on you. Moreover, meeting them at the maternal uncles' place is sufficient, and praise be to Allah. If they are poor, you should maintain ties with them through money, because this is part of the great maintenance of ties. If they are in need of you, it is obligatory for you to do so. If you are able to maintain ties with them through money, as for visiting, you are excused if the situation is as you described. Yes.
