The ruling on letting the hands hang down in prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some people, when they stand in prayer behind the imam, do not place their right hand over their left; rather, they stand with their hands hanging down. In some people, this may be a habit or a school of thought. What is your guidance? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
It is prescribed for the believer to place his right hand over his left palm, on his chest, in prayer. He should not let them hang down, nor let them be loose. However, if he lets them hang down, the prayer is valid, and the dislike is that he has done a disliked thing, which is not befitting; otherwise, the prayer is valid.
The point is that he has left the sunnah. The sunnah is to place his right hand over his left palm, on his chest, while he is standing in prayer. This is what is prescribed. So if he lets them hang down, the prayer is valid, and he has left the more cautious course. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
